Double Trouble – Qualify to huge live events in both Canada and Australia

Team EuroPoker are going global! We’re sending teams to opposite sides of the world to take part in huge simultaneous live events in Canada and Australia – the WPT North America and the PokerNews Cup.

Niagara Falls is the location of the prestigious WPT North America. Held at the stunning Fallsview Casino Resort, this has to be one of the most incredible locations for any poker tournament in the world. The WPT North America attracts the biggest poker stars on the planet, and with a buy-in of $10,000 CDN, it’s not hard to see why.

While one team flies off to Canada, a second team will be packing their bags and heading for Australia! There they’ll be taking part in the PokerNews Cup, held at Melbourne’s spectacular Crown Casino. It will be the team’s second time down under, after their hugely successful trip to the Aussie Millions earlier this year.

The Double Trouble $500+40 online final

1st place wins a VIP package to Canada 2nd and 3rd places win VIP packages to Australia

1. Players qualifying for the WPT event must be 19 or older by October 8, 2008.

2. Players confirm by playing in a Double Trouble $500+40 final that they are available to play in either of the live events. Confirmation covers eligibility to play at the live event with regards to age restrictions, eligibility to travel to the country where the live event will take place and ineligibility caused by already having qualified for the event by some other means. If you do not meet all these requirements and win a prize package, the package will be forfeited and you will receive a replacement $500+40 ticket as a refund.

3. Prize packages cannot be redeemed in cash – if, for any known reason, you cannot join the team and attend the live event which you intend to win a prize package for, then do not play one of the Double Trouble $500+40 Finals. The live events both take place at the same time in mid-October. In the event that a prize package winner cannot go to the live event, that player will receive a $500+40 ticket in return for their efforts. The payout structure will be altered to exclude the winner who could not attend. The prize package will be awarded to the fourth placed player instead or to the most suitable (highest placed non-prize package winning) replacement in the event that fourth place has already won a package as well.

4. Players who qualify for the WPT event cannot win any other packages – if any player plays twice in one of the Double Trouble $500+40 Finals and wins another prize package to either the WPT Canada or the PokerNews tournament, they will receive only a replacement $500+40 ticket for their efforts. The prize package will be awarded to the fourth placed player instead or to the most suitable (highest placed non-prize package winning) replacement in the event that fourth place has already won a package as well. Once you have won a WPT package, it is not necessary to compete in any more of the Double Team finals.

5. Players who qualify for the PokerNews Event also cannot win any other packages – if any player plays twice in one of the Double Trouble qualifiers and wins a package twice, they will receive only a replacement $500+40 ticket for their efforts. The prize package will be awarded to the fourth placed player instead or to the most suitable replacement in the event that fourth place has already won a package as well.
